Spraybeast interview the parisian Keno of the Peace And Love crew
Where are you from?
So, i’m from south Paris, don’t mix up with the northtern district, more sketchyer from my opinion, “you don’t mix up cloth and towels”as we say in french.
How long have you been writing and how did you get into it?
I’m writing since 1996, i alwais liked to hang outside as a kid. I grew up in the 13th district, in paris, a very special neighbohood for graffiti, a unique tag and graffiti scene was created there. As soon i could  i started myself to practice. I wanted to colored my city, i just needed a can a marker to make happy
Tell me about PAL
A bunch of cool meetings with chilled dudes sharing the same vide than me, oppened and curious, as well on the human and artistic side. That’s not common nowadays. on the whole, a kind of “dead poet society” if you want. We called it PAL, means “peace and love”
Do you like painting in Paris, it looks like you guys get up to some fun shit
See the question about my favorite city. Life’s a joke, and at one point we had to find something to do, no?
How would you describe your style?
I don’t know, I try, I change sometimes it works sometimes not, and that’s why I keepin doing it .That’s “never ending story”.
Who’s idea was the 2 colour productions that you, Tomek and Horfe have been doing?
Basically, that the cheapest, simplest, fastest ,stylest painting activity. Raw impact who demands some skills only PAL’s knights posseses.
Any good chase stories?
I forgot all of that cause of alcohol, may be it’s better
What’s the best place you have painted?
It doesn’t exist, each spot hide a secret magic atmosphere, that’s what i’m looking for. My own personal device could be “never stop exploring”
