For me “Punchlines” is about the motions and the trace or impression they leave on you”. To the artist, the work on lines and on their style defines graffiti. For this exhibition, he wants to create masterpieces that strike the mind at first sight.

Serval is inspired by Old School graffiti’s tradition as well as classical American illustration. His very dynamic work is essentially painted with spray cans. It’s a delicate balance between the energy of his letters, their textures and the line’s purity. The exhibition will be about the graffiti’s energy and vigor; about giving life to the letters thanks to a subtle balance between harmony and tension between solid lines and curves. Serval deepens his latest reflections to add a new dimension to his work on walls. . Serval just took part inthe jam Just Writing My Name of Naples and of the Circle Kings Jam of Lausanne. He is now working with illustrator JP Kalonji, with the tattoo artist Christian N’Guyen and he is also participating in Dave “Chino” Villorente’s next Piecebook..
