Descente Interdite review

Two weeks ago I ¬†had the chance to obtain a copy of the book “Descente Interdite”. Awaited, delayed, re-awaited, re-delayed, it seems his author Karim Boukercha have take his time to bring out this book focused on the Paris subway from 1984 to 2010. 400 pages and more than 1200 pictures: a huge and heavy book! What make this book so great is not only the pictures but also the newspapers articles, the testimonials of writers, photograph and of RATP detectives, the quality ¬†and the precision (all the pictures are subtitled and dated) of the documentation that the book contains. I shoot a few pages in order that you had you own opinion about the book. For the frenchies, you can also have a look on the interview of the author in the news of France 3 at the end of the post. A nice interview of about 50 minutes done by Runklemag is also available here
